  • This tool works by having a transmitter and mic used by the teacher and a receiver and headphones used by the student.

  • The teacher speaks into the transmitter during normal instruction, small groups, one on one, or any other time where the teacher is saying something that Jack needs to hear. This will allow Jack to better hear what the teacher is saying.

  • This should help with Jacks ability to maintain a conversation, retell a story, make inferences, and remember facts because he will be able to better hear people talking to him and stories being read to him.

  • The starting price is $300.

  • This software is designed for Jack to speak into a mic and have his words transcribed for him instead of having to type.

  • This software is also to do voice command shortcuts to open specific sites or create terms that may be less common like proper names.

  • This is available on the computer and an app so the student and also use it at home.

  • It is designed to prevent fatigue and stress from keyboarding.

  • This will help the student by eliminating the stress of copying from a paper to type on the computer or worrying about spelling. He can just read it to the program instead.

  • This can also be used when the student is becoming increasingly frustrated from his handwriting. He can use this program to type for him.

  • Hopefully, by providing accommodations for the factors that frustrate the student, he will now be able to focus more on generating his own ideas and organizing his thoughts.
